Credential Service Providers must have easy to find and use mechanisms in place to assist applicants when problems arise during identity proofing. These mechanisms should be evaluated for their efficacy.

Provide evidence (e.g. organizational policies, compliance/assessment reports, sample FAQs) that make it clear what complaint resolution processes area available to applicants that experience problems including details on the efficacy of these processes.

The CSP SHALL provide mechanisms for redress of applicant complaints or problems arising from the identity proofing. These mechanisms SHALL be easy for applicants to find and use. The CSP SHALL assess the mechanisms for their efficacy in achieving resolution of complaints or problems.
