Specifies requirements in accordance with Identity Ecosystem Framework (IDEF) requirement INTEROP-3: STANDARDIZED CREDENTIALS.

1 Standardized Credentials (StandardizedCredentials) Does the entity issue credentials in a format that conforms to public open standards listed in the IDESG Standards Registry, or if that Registry does not include feasible options, then to non-proprietary specifications listed in the IDESG Standards Inventory. Indicate "Not Applicable" (N/A) if the entity does not issue credentials. Artifact A1 Provide evidence (e.g. organizational policies, procedures, compliance/assessment reports, etc.) and supporting notes as appropriate to support the assessor's response to this assessment step.
2 Standardized Assertions (StandardizedAssertions) Does the entity issue assertions in a format that conforms to public open standards listed in the IDESG Standards Registry, or if that Registry does not include feasible options, then to non-proprietary specifications listed in the IDESG Standards Inventory. Indicate "Not Applicable" (N/A) if the entity does not issue assertions. Artifact A1 Provide evidence (e.g. organizational policies, procedures, compliance/assessment reports, etc.) and supporting notes as appropriate to support the assessor's response to this assessment step.

Conformance Criteria (1)

Identity Ecosystem Steering Group	IDESG	A voluntary, public-private partnership dedicated to developing an Identity Ecosystem Framework (IDEF) and services to better online digital identity. The IDESG looks to advance the Identity Ecosystem called for in the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC).
Nonproprietary Published Format/Specification		A known and consistent format that is published and transparent to all relying parties and identity providers in the relevant network, and is not controlled by a commercial interest.
