Does the organization categorize information (or ensure that the originating party has categorized information) based on its nature (for example, tips and leads, suspicious activity reports, criminal history, intelligence information, case records, conditions of supervision, case progress), usability, and quality? The purpose of categorizing information is to assist users in: • Determining the quality and accuracy of the information • Making the most effective use of the information • Knowing whether and with whom the information can be appropriately shared
